Stitcher App User Journey
This was a UX case study of the interactive interface of Stitcher. I applied background research to identify user needs, learn the basics of mapping out an average user’s journey on Stitcher, and propose application redesigns.
Stitcher is a media company that creates, distributes, and monetizes podcasts through a website and a mobile app. The user “Stephanie Roberts” represents the average age of podcast listeners. Apple Podcasts and Spotify are two of Stitcher’s top competitors with Spotify expected to reach 28.2 million U.S. internet users in 2021. Stitcher needs to understand the components of their platform that users are enjoying and what components need to be fixed and corrected in order to compete in this podcast space.
